I have been a financial advisor for the past 39 years. I live in Rocky Mount, NC, with a wonderful wife and
two terrific children. I graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College, with a BA in Business Administration.
I am on the Board of Directors for Nash Community College Foundation and just recently was honored to be appointed
to the National Board of Advisors for Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center. I have now been honored with Nash
Community College Alumni of the Year award for 2013.
In my younger days, I dabbled in pen and ink drawings. It wasn’t until I experienced some life
altering events that I began to take it seriously. The passing of my brother-in-law and the
illness and surgeries that my son, Daniel, went through made me realize that I should embrace
my passions. My time on this earth is short and my passion is to make a difference in the lives of others.

When not serving my clients, I am happiest at the beach grilling and painting. I am
committed to raising funds for non-profit organizations and motivating people to live more empowered lives.
